The inspiration behind my prints, card designs, poems and fabric designs come from my direct experiences in the field. I capture these experiences using my sketchbook and camera, so that when I am ready to start new designs I have research material to access as my starting point.
I have started to document this process through filmmaking and have started a new YouTube Channel (www.youtube.com/@lucys_wildlife_films) to give insight into the fieldwork behind each design. I plan to build on this over time and hope to release a new video every couple of weeks, showcasing my latest design and the story behind it.
